The Edge is Prophets labor of love this is his attempt of making an album that has the flavor of his hero's music but in his own twisted way. This Album is dedicated to all the people out there who feel beat down my life's crushing challenges and it may lift your spirits and help you to rise up in victory. A Little Bit About Prophet And The Cowboys of Apocalypse

Prophet has just released his first solo album on Feb 27th 2010 entitled "The Edge". The band name for this project is, "Prophet & The Cowboys Of Apocalypse". This album is mostly acoustic and all the music is from the heart. Prophet has been in music for 31 years and is very proud of this new album!!!

PROPHET I am a person who loves music in general. It is all art to me, and I can learn something from anyone or any style. I have a great love and respect for the music of, Johnny Cash - Willie Nelson - Waylon Jennings - Johnny Paycheck, "Hank Williams 1 - 2 and 3" - David Allan Coe. The "Outlaws" of Country music have always been my favorites!!! The music here on my solo album "The Edge" has a "South Western / Country / Rock" feel to it. On this record I have mixed a few different influences of mine into one album.

ST. MADNESS is proud to announce that we have been nominated for "Rock Act Of The Year" by "The Phoenix Music Awards for 2010". The Award Ceremony will take place November 18th 2010 at "The Paramount Theater" in Los Angeles California USA.

ST. MADNESS is also very proud to announce that we have almost finished writing the follow up to our 2009 release "SAINTANIC". The working title for our up coming 8th full length album is, "Hunting Humans". On this record we are going back to our roots with songs that are primarily "Thrash Metal". Recording will begin this summer.

We are very excited about the new music and can't wait to share it with the world!!!

Brief history about St. Madness............................. The band started in May 1993, under the original band name of "Crown Of Thorns." The band recorded and performed under the name "Crown of Thorns" up until August of '97. During Spring of that same year the band had found out that there was a Christian rock group out of New Jersey, that actually had already trademarked the name "Crown of Thorns" back in '91. We realized that they owned the trademark, and that there was no way we could fight them in court. The album that we had out at the time was called "The Spiritual Visions of St. Madness." Prophet convinced the band to simply change the band name from "Crown of Thorns" to "St. Madness." He thought it would be an easier transition for the fans of the band.

Over the years St. Madness/Crown of Thorns has had a number of people in the band. Prophet is the only original member and founder who is still in the band to this day.

Over the years St. Madness has been honored to perform with, among others, Van Halen, King Diamond, Flotsam & Jetsam, Monster Magnet, Sacred Reich, Lynch Mob, Fates Warning, Black Oak Arkansas, Phil Lewis - L.A. Guns, DRI, and at the 12th and 13th Milwaukee MetalFests.
